First Friday

You could tell that the crowd was a little off at the start.  The Lions have played long into the night on Thursday, only to lose on a Hail Mary at Midnight.  There was only one person who could save us.  SUE! She came in ready to party and went SOLO on the dance floor for a song and a half.  Eventually, her enthusiasm was infectious and she gathered a crowd, like a snowball.  Much like a comet, she burned bright for a very short time.  But the crowd was ignited!  They got to see Julia perform Suffragette City for the first time in public and we had a trip of gals join us for Jessie’s Girl.  We were also treated to Emily’s new daughter while Shawn played the part of “Sixth Beer” in a back up role.
