First Friday Cancelled By Fire
We've seen Fire, We've Seen Rain
After the ass kicking we took outdoors at Arts Beats and Eats, we thought going back indoors to the friendly confines of John Cowley and Sons Pub would be safe. We thought wrong. At about 5:15 a small fire in the kitchen forced the closure of the bar for the night and the Farmington and Farmington Hill Fire departments to respond with ladder trucks to get to the vent fire in the roof.

We are so glad to report that everyone was safe, no one was hurt and the damage was minimal. Our hearts go out to the entire Cowley family and employees.
