Less like a Bear, more like a Groundhog
So we played for 23 years straight. Then we took almost a year off only to come back and play two surprise gigs in less than a month in late 2017/early 2018. It was a lot of fun we have to tell you. So much fun, that we went back into hibernation. But like the legendary Punxsutawney Phil, the great groundhog of Pennsylvania, we will pop our head out of the ground to see if we see our shadow. If we do, either we will play a gig in a month and a half OR we won't play a gig for another six weeks. So, technically we are still retired. So watch this space for any breaking news. Or not.

Every once in a while, Free Beer is going to play a gig. It's because it is fun and we miss all of you. We have tried to get everyone to come to a bar and just hang out with us for 3 hours, but just a few of us show up and everyone leaves after an hour. But when Free Beer plays, everyone sticks around and has a great time. So what the hell. Let's do it. We picked this date because ... um ... it worked with our calendars. See you there! Located on Grand River and Farmington, Downtown Farmington MI. Admission at Cowley's is Free. |
