Free Beer was invited to perform at the Motown WinterBlast in Downtown Detroit due to our well heated performance at the Arts Beats and Eats festival. It's a big outdoor festival with slides, skating, ice sculptures and the lot to celebrate Winter in Detroit. It started back when we had the Super Bowl. We played at one of the huge block long heated tents on the Michigan Lottery Stage from 4:30P to 5:30P, right after local groove rap artists OTIS (Out There In Space) and a Burlesque Act (Flame with a Twist). We were well received by the audience and the booking agent. (WE DID AN ENCORE?!?) Looks like we will be doing more of these festival things in the future. What a (winter) Blast it was.
